Terms & Conditions



Film Duration:

The length of films specified for each package is an estimate and may vary depending on the events of the day. We cannot guarantee the exact length of the film, as it will depend on how the day unfolds.


Bookings:

A non-refundable booking fee of 50% is required to secure the client's wedding photography and/or film booking. The remaining balance is due no later than two weeks before the client's wedding date. Clients are welcome to pay the remaining balance in instalments leading up to the two weeks before the wedding date.


Payment Terms:

- A 50% booking fee is required to secure the wedding date.

- The remaining amount is due a minimum of two weeks before the wedding date. Clients are welcome to pay the remaining amount in instalments leading up to the wedding day if they choose.

- Expenses are due 30 days after the wedding, which can include, but are not limited to: travel, food, and accommodation if necessary.


Cancellation Policy:

- Clients must promptly notify us of any cancellations.

- Booking fee (50% of the full package price) is non-refundable to secure the wedding date.


Cancellation Fees:

- 90 or more days before the wedding date: 50% of the full package price (the booking fee)*.

- 31-89 days before the wedding date: 75% of the full package price.

- Within 30 days of the wedding date: 100% of the full package price.


We cannot guarantee rebooking the date, and the cancellation fees are designed to compensate for potential lost opportunities.


Combined Services:

Photography and videography are separate packages; however, we provide both services for a total cost of £3500.00*. This package is called 'The Bon Amour Deluxe.' Details can be found in our PDF packages. The Bon Amour Deluxe package also includes a third shooter with whom we regularly collaborate.


Special Offer:

We are offering our 2023 prices to our 2024 and 2025 couples for a limited time. This offer ends on 31st March 2024, and the deposit must be paid by this date to secure the client's wedding date(s).


Postponement:

If clients need to postpone the wedding date, we will do our best to accommodate the change. If we are not available on your new date, the deposit will be forfeited.


Communication:

Clients agree to communicate with the service provider in a timely and professional manner and to inform the service provider of any concerns or issues as soon as possible.


Photography and Film:

Bon Amour Weddings will capture photographs and/or film throughout the client's wedding day, within the selected package. We will use our professional judgment to capture the best images and footage possible. We cannot guarantee specific shots, angles, or exact numbers of photographs or lengths of films. The service provider has full creative control over the final product, including the choice of shots, editing style, and music selection.


Editing:

All photographs and films will be edited by us before delivery to you. Bon Amour does not provide unedited RAW files.


Delivery:

The service provider will provide an estimated timeline for the delivery of the final product. This timeline may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. We will provide them in high resolution via a digital download link.


Copyright:

The copyright of all photographs and films will remain with us, but you will have a license to use the images and footage for personal use; this can be extended to friends and family. You may not sell or license the images and footage without our written permission. If suppliers, businesses, or any other party wish to use our images, they must seek permission from the copyright holder.


Model Release:

By using Bon Amours services, you give permission to use material captured by Bon Amour for marketing and promotional purposes for Bonjorfilm and/or Bon Amour Weddings. The couple may specify any restrictions on the use of their images and footage by providing written notice to the service provider prior to the wedding. If no restrictions are specified, the service provider may use the images and footage for marketing and promotional purposes without further consent from the couple.


The couple may revoke their consent to the use of their images and footage for marketing and promotional purposes after the wedding shoot by providing written notice to the service provider. However, such revocation must be based on a valid and legitimate reason, such as a breach of contract by the service provider. The service provider agrees to cease using the images and footage for marketing and promotional purposes within a reasonable amount of time after receiving this notice with a valid and legitimate reason.


Liability:

Our liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from our performance or non- performance under this agreement is limited to the total fees paid to us by you.


Force Majeure:

The service provider shall not be held liable for any failure to perform their obligations under this agreement due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government restrictions, or illness.


Coverage:

If for any reason we are unable to capture your day due to circumstances beyond our control, we will do our utmost to ensure coverage and resolve this through our network of alternative service providers.


Dispute Resolution:

In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through mediation or arbitration before resorting to litigation.


Insurance:

The service provider agrees to carry appropriate insurance coverage.


Expenses:

The couple agrees to reimburse the service provider for any reasonable and necessary expenses incurred in connection with the wedding shoot. These expenses may include but are not limited to travel expenses (such as airfare, car rental, and accommodations), parking fees, and meal allowances. In the event that the wedding does not provide meals for the service provider, the couple agrees to reimburse the service provider for the cost of any meals consumed during the wedding shoot.


Food Requirement:

We kindly request that one main meal is provided for each member of the Bon Amour team (currently a maximum of three people if you choose 'The Bon Amour Deluxe' package). If this is not possible, please advise Bon Amour before the wedding date so we can make alternative arrangements. Food arranged by Bon Amour will be billed at £25.00 per head per day.


Travel:

- The service provider will be reimbursed at a rate of £0.45 per mile for any fuel expenses incurred in connection with the wedding shoot.

- The service provider agrees to provide the couple with an itemised list of expenses, along with receipts, upon request.

- The couple agrees to pay these expenses within 30 days of receiving the itemised list.

- Bon Amour will clarify where possible the amount of estimated expenses prior to the wedding date.


Destination Weddings:

The terms and conditions for destination weddings will be dealt with on a case-by- case basis. Additional terms and fees may apply, depending on the specific destination and requirements.


Refund:

In the unlikely event that the service provider is unable to fulfil their obligations due to illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, the service provider will provide a refund of any payments made by the couple.


Data:

The service provider agrees to take appropriate measures to protect the footage and photos, including creating backups and storing them securely for a period of one year after the wedding.
